The Avalanche jeep safari
When conditions allow, the Forest Department runs a 2-hour jeep safari further uphill from the lake, past the Bhavani Amman temple to a higher viewpoint over the valley. It's seasonal and weather-dependent, so it can only be confirmed on the day. If it's running, it's arranged and paid for on the spot with the Forest Department, not through us.

Can I change the order or add a place?
Within the tour, yes: change the order, skip a place, or add a café stop along the route. A place outside the route may need a different tour or cost extra, and we'll tell you before your day.
Are entry tickets included?
No. Entry tickets and parking are paid directly at each place.
What if it rains?
Your driver adjusts the order to make the most of the day. Weather changes aren't refunded.
Should we buy the driver a meal?
Never expected, and it isn't part of the price. If you stop to eat, offering your driver a meal is a kind gesture on a long day.
